What is Microsoft SSO in Sociuu?
Microsoft Single Sign-On (SSO) allows your employees to log into Sociuu using their existing company account from Microsoft Entra ID.
This means:
No additional passwords to manage
Stronger security (MFA, Conditional Access)
Faster and smoother login experience
Login Setup Options
When enabling Microsoft SSO, you can choose how it should be used in your organization:
1. Optional (Recommended for rollout)
Employees can choose between:
Microsoft SSO
Sociuu’s own login method (Magic Login)
Ideal for gradual adoption and flexibility
2. Required (Strict SSO enforcement)
Employees can only log in via Microsoft SSO
Ensures full alignment with internal IT/security policies
Tip: Many companies start with optional and later switch to required once adoption is stable.
Authentication Protocol (OIDC vs SAML)
Sociuu uses OpenID Connect (OIDC) as the authentication protocol.
Why this matters:
OIDC is the modern standard for web applications
Built on top of OAuth 2.0
More secure and developer-friendly than legacy approaches
While Microsoft Entra ID supports both SAML and OIDC:
“For new application development, we recommend using OpenID Connect (OIDC) for authentication.”
As a result:
SAML is not supported in Sociuu
OIDC ensures better security, scalability, and compatibility with modern systems

To enable Microsoft SSO:
A Microsoft Entra admin initiates login via Sociuu
Admin grants consent to the Sociuu application
The app is automatically created in your Entra tenant
Optional: apply internal access restrictions (groups, policies)
