HOW TO SHARE FROM THE EMAIL

On this page, you’ll find helpful videos and step-by-step guides showing you how to share content via email, along with an overview of all the social media channels available for sharing.

LinkedIn share

Step 1: Open LinkedIn from Your Email
Click the LinkedIn icon in the email, and you’ll be redirected straight to LinkedIn.
(Tip: You can also share directly from the preview.)

Step 2: Choose How You Want to Share
Just below the large image, select one of the two sharing options:

  • Share in a post – publish to your wall and newsfeed.

  • Send as a private message – share directly with someone.
    For a public post, choose "Share in a post".

Step 3: Add Your Message
Write your own introduction text or copy and paste the suggested text from the email.
For better reach, consider adding #hashtags and @mentions.

Step 4: Publish Your Post
Click the blue “Post” button in the bottom-right corner to publish.
Once posted, you can view and edit it anytime by selecting the (···) options menu.

Facebook share

Step 1: Open Facebook from Your Email
Click the Facebook icon in the email to be redirected directly to Facebook.
(Tip: You can also share directly from the preview.)

Step 2: Add Your Message
Write an introductory text for your post, or copy and paste the suggested text from the email. Boost your post’s reach by adding #hashtags and @tags.

Step 3: Customize Your Post

  • Choose your publication settings (public, friends only, etc.).

  • Personalize your post further by tagging people, adding a location, or selecting a mood.

  • Decide how to share: as a News Feed post or a Story (we recommend News Feed, as stories disappear after 24 hours).

Step 4: Publish Your Post
Click the blue “Post to Facebook” button.
After publishing, you can view and edit your post anytime by clicking the (···) options menu.

Step 1: Open Instagram from Your Email
Click the Instagram icon in the email and choose to open it in your default web browser.
You may need to log in to Instagram through the browser or open the post in the app.

 

Step 2: Choose How to Share
Tap the paper plane icon and select one of these options:

  • Add Post to Your Story (recommended)

  • *Send as Direct Messages

Add an introductory text or copy and paste the suggested text from the email.

 

Step 3: Personalize Your Story
Get creative! Add filters, stickers, location tags, mood tags, and more to make it unique.
If you have a public account, including @mentions and #hashtags will increase your reach.

 

Step 4: Share Your Post
When ready, tap “Your Story” to share with your followers.
Alternatively, tap the arrow button to share via direct messages or with a close friends group.
(Tip: Posts in stories disappear after 24 hours, but you can save them as Highlights on your profile so followers can view them anytime!)

Step 1: Open Twitter from Your Email
Click the Twitter icon in the email, and you’ll be redirected directly to Twitter.
(Tip: You can also share from the preview.)

Step 2: Add Your Tweet Text
Write an introductory text for your tweet, or use the suggested text from the email (this may paste automatically).
Boost your tweet’s visibility by adding #hashtags and @mentions.

 

Step 3: Review Your Post
Check that everything looks good—your text, links, and any media.
Make any final edits or additions before posting.

 

Step 4: Publish Your Tweet
Click the “Post” (Tweet) button to publish.
After posting, you can view, edit, or delete your tweet by using the (···) options menu.

Mobile Notes:

Why Do Shares Open in a New Tab?

When you share content or a post from Sociuu on your mobile device, the link opens in a new tab to help launch the LinkedIn app (if installed) for a smoother sharing experience.

Having Trouble Sharing?

If nothing happens when you try to share, it may be because your mobile browser is blocking pop-ups.
To ensure sharing works smoothly:

  • Check your pop-up settings.

  • Allow pop-ups for your Sociuu domain (or your company’s custom domain).

  • Alternatively, consider temporarily disabling your pop-up blocker while using Sociuu.
